i just found this....an old ditty i wrote long ago...and experienced even longer ago...men det känns ännu idag!!

Larry var arbetslös och Larry kände inte riktigt för att vara arbetslös. Larry gick till arbetsförnedringen. På arbetsförnedringen sa de till Larry att han skulle få jobba 6 veckor på sjukavdelningen på ett ålderdomshem. Larry försökte se tacksam ut, men ärlig talat så var inte ett jobb på sjukavdelning på ett ålderdomshem vad Larry hade tänkt sig när han hade flyttat till Sverige.

barbara and i have now been married for one heavenly year
life has been pretty much as expected
which means
we never expect anything
things just happen

been meeting alot of interesting people here in stockholm
seems as if everyone has heard a bit or piece about our wedding
making it easy on us all

wow...still in a bit of a swedish haze here.

a tant came yesterday
hon såg inte alls ut som en tant who would uppskatta the affär
she looked a bit vilsen ut if you know what i mean
först trodde jag att hon ville klaga about something
men i am pretty oskyldig and i really couldn't think of a thing a vilsen looking tant could klaga about
she asked me if she could fråga mig en sak
of course i said friendly affärsmassigt...fråga gärna

she looked in her vilsen inte klagande way at me and said
var finns klädaffären som låg här?
i said...it has been gone for a few years now...inte säkert men kanske 4-5 år nu

blogging...yet another complex

when i opened the store...i was totally determined to blog each and every day
was gonna write thoughts, ideas, dreams, memories, recipes
and ads...of course

as time went on...not so very much time...but time is time is time as we say
we being me and my complexes

we started wondering..just who is reading these blogs
besides my baba and me....is there anyone out there?
don't wanna ask....it's a lose lose situation...if noone answers....i make extra appointment with my shrink

feet and a spännande ny bok

been really busy lately. still trying to land with my feet on the ground here. found me a real stockholm shrink and got me a tunnelbana card and all....stockholm is home baby!
since i last wrote, we have had some pretty damn cool shows, met some amazing people..and basically been loving being here
i noticed this years ago...but thought it was a varberg thing
now i see...it is really truly swedish
i gotta travel more and compare
but one thing i notice more and more
when swedes walk...they look
DOWN
sweden is a clean place..so i know it's not for fear of walking in dogshit

reality....wow...what a cool concept to grow old with

i have this philosophy about getting old
as always....it is in all liklihood nothing earth shattering
it isn't very well developed....and you probably had the same thoughts
when you were 15
then again...since then....you have forgotten all about it
while i..larry the tortise in lifes tortise and the hare race of thoughts and philosophies and surivival
i have managed to wait until now..in the twilight of my life
to use my mind in a way that shows i am capable of having thoughts
sorta cool
most people at my age...they are all thought out

i had this idea
todays blog would only contain beatles song titles
but
i am tired of trying to be original and witty
pretty sure someone has already done something similar
probably nowhere near as good as i would've done it
but that's life
and no...we don't all live in a yellow submarine

i was sorting some stuff out today
and saw a few fun beatles things
gave me the idea to do todays blog
all about the beatles things i found
there might be some more stuff lying around
but this is what i found

the fun thing about this place
make that ONE of the fun things about this place
actually...it's all pretty fun
each and every day brings something new into my life
even customers
and lots and lots of interesting people and films and music and stuff

yesterday i got a box of films that has totally taken over my mind
and and as usual..one thing has lead to another
and now i just might be getting in some of the greatest documentaries ever made
one of the films that arrived was
les blank's werner herzog eats his shoe
