fika gribbel.. grubbel

the older i get
the more i talk
the more things i try to describe
the less people understand me
and the less i understand all of you for that matter
i am having a language grubbel today
hoping the grubbel...will evolve into a gribbel
then i can gribbel while i fika
i don`t know if this idea is silly or serious
but i would love to talk

grubbel is a swedish word. it means to ponder or think hard....it is a serious way of thinking. it sounds serious. say it...grubbel....it isnt`t a happy thing to do. you grubbel about taxes, insurance, hair growing in your nose and ears
if i say i am grubbling...you know the feeling
i like that
that you understand me

baba and i decided that we needed a word to let each other know when we are thinking of nice happy flowery things
not grubbling
we came up with gribbling
gribble sounds happy.
grubble sounds serious
and fika
fika is what i am gonna do right now
take me an amazing cup of larrys corner coffee
a peppermint brownie
gonna read some found magazine
listen to hellsongs...a group i cannot describe in words
they take hard rock songs and fix them up ala simon and garfunkle..
wow..i did get them into words
and i am gonna gribbel
about life and my baba
