this is not a list...i just can't do lists

i love reading lists
doesn't matter what kind of list it is
if you write a list
i will read it
and possibly
be influenced by it
i am that kind of guy

BUT
i hate making lists myself
my life is a list....i don't need lists
i am a list
have no idea what that means
but it sounded sorta cool

this time of year...everyone
EVERYONE has their list of the year
best film, book, cd, food, sexual position, rat poison
i don't do lists
i really don't like this idea that culture...or life for that matter
has to be so damn much like food in the grocery store
always fresh and latest
to me...i think i have said this before....but it makes me sound so damn smart
i say it again
finding a film from 1934..or a book from italy in the 70s or
something like
exuma...now that is fresh
i listened to him way back when i was a detroit teenager...then forgot...then just recently refound
check him out....he isn't from today...but he is fresh as a daisy

the bombay connection vol1 funk from bollywood action thrillers 1977-1984 is just too damn cool to not let ya know about....this is music that will make you breathe heavily
like i do when i see my baba

personally...i think the stones are nothing that terribly special
but for some reason...i love good covers of their music
there just isn't a better collection of covers than
bossa n`stones
the stones made groooooovy
