xmas fun from zog

we all know how stressed xmas can be
we all feel it
even members of zog

a little fun thing to do
when the kids are already bored with their broken toys
and you just wanna vomit

sounds pretty much like any usual tuesday for most people

anyhows...
this little mind reading trick can sort of rinse the air
and possibly get you started on a discussion of metaphysics or harry houdini
or something else
what do i know

ok...you need 1 piece of paper, 1 pen
and a subject
it is best if the subject is about 12 or older
but don't worry...it's nothing sexual
i don't know you so well....so maybe it is
in our family it sure ain't

now you will have to ham it up good if you wanna make this fun
tell your subject that you have learned to read minds
yup..it's the old xmas mind reading trick
your subject will be asked to think of a number bertween 1 and six billion
i like six billion...but you can choose another number
tell them to think of a number...and you will then write down exactly what they say
if they don't screw up the trick...which unfortunately does happen from time to time
life is filled with disappointments so just hop back on yur horse and try it again another xmas
ask your subject to think of a number
then...sly you....you will write down
the word
NO
plain and simple
NO
you will then say..ok...i have written down what you are gonna say
you ask them if they have thought of the number eight million and seven...or any other number
now is the moment of truth
3 things can happen...actually more than 3....but we say 3
1. you might have the power and have guessed right..in which case come to the store and help me with the football scores
2. they might say the wrong thing..don't ask what
3. if it works...and it really most often does....then when you guess their number..
now you gott do this right...
ask....DID YOU THINK OF THE NUMBER 8 MILLION AND SEVEN?
if it works
they will say
NO
you will then show what you have written on your paper

and you have made xmas special

i have a feeling this book will be gone before i am done blogging but just in case playful eye is one of those book you can spend hours looking at. and feel that it was time well spent!

same goes for the most original man in sweden...jan stenmark.
storpack is a collection of his best stuff...all in svenska and all so amazingly weird and creative. i tend to noodge..but this guy is worth learning swedish for

bit late to ship...but for next year...why not start a new film tradition. some films are meant to become traditions. for me..the fall is the wizard of oz time. when i have a fever...it's those magnificent men in their flying machines.
for xmas i think i will start with jacques tati's masterpiece...semestersabotören or mr hulots holiday as we english speakers say. is there a softer more laid back comedy? perfect to relax and love your baba with
